Our definition of care is providing a genuine nurturing approach and applying it to your homecare needs. We provide holistic and consistent care to you in your home. We understand that Homecare is a very individual experience and as such we will conduct a needs led assessment which involves meeting you in your home and assessing your needs thus enabling us to provide you with a professional team who are proficient, well- trained and sensitive to your conditions. We can provide Nursing support (see Cecelia’s Nursing Agency for more detail), Health Care Assistants (HCA’s), and Support Workers for your basic and specialist health care needs. Additionally, we can supply specialist staff such as chiropodist, physiotherapists, alternative therapists, hair dressers and beauticians. We are registered with CQC and offer competitive rates and holistic care packages.

We aim to ensure your transition into Homecare is as stress free as possible. Essential Care aims to offer you a personalised service from the outset. When you book with us we will take a detailed outline of your needs and ensure that we send the right support to your home. It’s not just a case of who’s available, it’s about who fits your life style.

Personal Assistant
Essential Care promotes the concept of personal assistance and has tailored our packages towards offering this type of personal service for clients. See our packages section for the full range of these services. This is a relatively new concept in social care which has evolved through modernity and personalisation of individual needs. Personal assistants work on a one-to-one basis with a person to provide whatever support they need. Helping people to gain control of their own lives is the key to helping them live independently. There is a wide variety of roles available under the title of Personal Assistant, as duties will depend on the care plan of the individual being cared for.

- You can finance your care privately.
- If you think that you may be eligible to receive social service funding IN THE FORM OF DIRECT PAYMENTS then please contact them first.

Direct payments are local council payments for people who have been assessed as eligible for care funding. Please contact your local council for more detailed information.
